Indian astrology and Vedic Mantra

Whatever is fated is controlled by planets. This is the underlying principle of Vedic astrology. The growth of a person, his downfall, existence or destruction of the world that all is solely influenced by the planets. It is said that Lord Brahma (Supreme father) has given boon to the planets and recommended their worship when they are turning inauspicious for the native or for the humankind.
Study of heavenly bodies has three branches known as Sidhanta, Sanhita and Hora.It is further divided in two sections which are known as Astronomy and astrology. The scientific study of matter in outer space, especially the positions, dimensions, distribution, motion, composition, energy and evolution of celestial bodies and phenomena is known as astronomy and the study of the positions and aspects of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs is known as astrology. Vedic astrology could be further divided in two sub-sections natal astrology (native) and natural astrology (mundane astrology.
Indian or Vedic astrology is divided in sections and sub sections, mantras too are having their significance in the same manner. The mantra could be undertaken for the benefit of the individual or for the humankind. If the astrologer predicts that there would be no rain then it would affect all the people, not the individual one, then for this purpose, mantra practice for pleasing lord Indra would be undertaken but if some one is facing litigations then he has to undertake the Baglamukhi Yagya for himself. So while practice the Mantras this thing should always be kept in mind.
As it is said that planets are considered supreme among the divine Gods, we would not ignore the very existence of our deities as they are par with the planets or blessed by the planets for the purpose of their propitiation. For the purpose of propitiation, the native must have enough knowledge of his deity of worship which could be located with the help of the Indian astrology.
Every Hindu has full faith in the existence of god and the worship him any form. According to Hindu belief, there are thirty three crores deities. Vedic classics say that there are different reasons for sufferings of a person; it could be curses of elders, preceptors, Brahmins or anger of Gods or Goddess. The fury of serpent god, dissatisfaction evil acts directed by the enemies and other afflictions, ghost and demons etc., form the suffering of a person. Now it becomes very hard for the devotee as to which God or Goddess he/she should worship through whom he could reap best of the results and make the suffering subdued or ineffective. Here we take help of Vedic astrology and mantras are interred related.
In the Indian horoscope, fifth house is considered for intellect and ninth house is considered for religiosity. Fifth house of Indian horoscope gives idea about the nature whereas ninth house gives idea about the deity. It is believed that through the Indian horoscope chart it could also be judged in what type of Mantra practice the native would be successful. Macrocosm and microcosm are the two poles of the same energy principle; Indian seers evolved a technique which could connect the two through one medium. They called it mantra. Mantra is the first principle which works in accordance with the cosmic energy in ether. The Sanskrit word for contemplation is Manana and the tool or medium for Manana is mantra and Mantra has been integral part of Vedic astrology since time immemorial. So, Vedic astrology and Mantras has special connotation with each other. One can’t proceed further without each one.So; Vedic mantra is an integral part of vedic astrology.
